Held at Crosspoint Human Services in Danville, Illinois, the Homelessness Awareness Lunch brought community members, advocates, and partners together to learn more about the realities of homelessness in our area. The event highlighted Crosspoint’s mission to provide housing support, basic needs, and pathways toward stability, while creating space for conversation, awareness, and connection. Through shared meals and meaningful discussion, attendees were reminded that homelessness is a local issue—and that compassion, education, and community action make a difference.
